2.12 ml rename

An installed package can be renamed so that hence forth all references to the package will be through its new name. This can be useful to try out a new version of a package whilst retaining the original version. Or to simplify commands by using a simpler package name. Or perhaps you simply do not like the author-chosen name of the package.

$ ml rename <old> <new>

For example,

ml install https://github.com/anusii/edsight
ml readme edsight
ml rename edsight apriori
ml readme apriori
